Blackboard – a nationally recognized course delivery system
UCC Online uses Blackboard, a robust software package, to deliver course content and provide support for instructors and students. In December of 2007, Blackboard reported to the US Securities and Exchange Commission that it had licensed 4,800 copies of its software which deliver instruction to millions of students. Its popularity is due to both its sophistication and its ease of use. It provides everything both teachers and students want, from grade postings to chat rooms.
