Information about Financial Aid at UCC Online

Paying for college is a major concern for most students. That’s why we have financial aid advisors at Utah Career College (UCC) to help you develop an affordable plan – both now and after you graduate.

As an online student, you may wonder whether you are eligible for the same financial aid that we offer eligible on-campus students. The answer is yes. To learn more, contact UCC Online at 877-609-8889.

Multiple sources of financial aid

Most students are able to assemble several sources of financial aid that make it possible for them to earn college degrees. Students can apply for our UCC scholarships and for loans and grants from external sources. When they combine multiple financial packages, students find that college is much more affordable.

Scholarships

Eligible students at UCC Online can apply for the following financial aid programs:

  • President’s Scholarship for Graduating Seniors
  • Director’s Academic Scholarship
  • Dream Act Scholarship
  • High School Advantage
  • Military Service Scholarship
  • Military Advantage Scholarship.
  • Purple Heart Scholarship
  • Business Alliance Scholarship
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Scholarship
  • Community Service Scholarship

Eligible students at UCC Online can apply for a variety of loans and grants:

  • Federal programs, including Federal Title IV programs, Pell Grants, Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, subsidized and unsubsidized Stafford Loans, PLUS loans for parents.
  • State programs. Most states have grant and loan programs for undergraduate college students. Some are for students who live in the state; others are for students who attend college there. Each program differs, so learn about the programs available in your state. Our financial aid advisors can get you started.
  • Private loans and grants. Many banks make college loans. Employers often make college grants to employers and their families. Some foundations have established grant and loan programs. Private loans and grants require investigation; we can point you in the right direction.
  • Affinity group programs. There are education programs for every group imaginable. If you’re a native American, a vegetarian, a graduate of a particular high school or hoping to enter a certain career field, there is probably a loan or grant for you. Like the private loans and grants, these require some research. We can help.

Most students at UCC Online are able to receive some financial aid in the form of scholarships, loans or grants. This makes their college educations more affordable.
