Admissions Requirements at Broadview


Some prospective students wonder whether they meet the admission requirements at Broadview University (formerly Utah Career College). Admissions requirements for Broadview University

To be qualified for admission to our online programs, students must have the following:

Documentation of a high school diploma or GED equivalent

OR

Documentation of an Associate of Applied Science degree

AND

A completed enrollment agreement and application fee of $50.00. (The fee is refundable if a student cannot be admitted)

AND

A completed orientation session, Online Learner Orientation

AND

Demonstrated ability to be a successful student by achieving minimum scores on the Accuplacer exam as follows:

  • Reading comprehension 35
  • Sentence skills 35
  • Arithmetic 21

Students can attempt each section of the exam twice. An admissions representative can advise you about taking the Accuplacer exam.

Students may substitute one of the following in place of the Accuplacer exam: ACT score of 21; a two-part SAT score of 990 or a three-part SAT score of 1485; a degree or diploma from Broadview University or other accredited institution.
