Jeff Davis
I have been teaching courses in business, economics, and math both residentially and online for over ten years. In my business, an asset management company that I founded, my responsibilities include economic forecasting to the daily trading of stocks, bonds, options, and futures. I also advise small businesses about start-up and taxation issues. My previous business experience includes retail sales, human resources, marketing, and real estate. I have a Bachelor’s degree in economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in finance.
Meggan Hansen
I have taught for the Globe Education Network for a little over 3 years. I teach computers, marketing, and management courses. I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in Finance as well as a Master's degree from Utah State in Business Information Systems and Education.
In addition to teaching my full time job is raising three small children ages 4, 2 and 3 months. They're a lot of work, but a lot of fun as well.
I love to teach and help students succeed. It's so rewarding to be a part of the learning process. I enjoy the courses that I teach and feel very fortunate to be able to teach online from my home.
Gordon E. Whitehead
I joined the Marines in 1982 and left the Marines in 1995 as a Captain to join Nike. My educational background: In 1989, I received a Bachelor of Arts from Oregon State University in Business with concentrations in Business Administration and Finance, and a Minor in Japanese. I held several positions at Nike including a final assignment as the Senior Manager of IT for the Americas Region. Other professional positions: Director of IT for Sequent Computers, Vice President for FB&B Consulting Group, Vice President of IT Operations for CorVel Corporation, and several entrepreneurial ventures. I received my MBA from University of Phoenix, and I am enrolled in a Doctor of Management program at George Fox University. The Doctor of Management program focuses on leadership development and organizational behavior.
John Forsythe
I have been the Business/Accounting Program Director since 2007. Previously, I was the Executive Director of Spirit Dance Youth Services, a central Utah high school serving at-risk teens. I have been involved with numerous entrepreneurial ventures in the advertising, publishing and online industries.
I have an MBA from the University of Utah with emphases in Finance and Entrepreneurship, and an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship I enjoy working with online students, many of whom have fascinating experiences in the business world.
