A history of hands-on career training
Broadview has been offering career education since 1977. Formerly the Bryman School, the college was originally located in downtown Salt Lake City. Today, Broadview students take classes in West Jordan, Layton, Orem, Salt Lake City and online. They study for master's, bachelor's and associate degrees and technical diplomas in business, health sciences, legal sciences and information technology. Graduates are prepared for jobs that are the first steps toward successful careers in these fields.
Education that meets employers’ needs
Our online degree programs have the same purpose – to provide students with the training and skills that employers want. Whether the program is business administration or information technology, it will include both theory and practice in a student’s chosen field. This combination gives a graduate an advantage when they seek employment – he or she will be ready to contribute right away. Employers know this and seek out our graduates.
Online programs in high-demand fields
Our online college offers bachelor’s (BS) and associate (AAS) degrees in the following areas:
- Accounting and Taxation. This AAS degree program prepares students for entry-level positions as bookkeepers, accounting and auditing clerks, financial clerks, payroll clerks, account collectors and tax document preparers.
- Business Administration. The BS and AAS degree program prepare students for careers in sales, marketing, human resources, finance and operations.
- Information Technology. Our BS and AAS degree programs give students the training they need for careers in IT. Graduates can expect to find a position such as sales manager, network administrator, software developer, support specialist and help desk technician.
Many graduates are also ready to own their own small businesses. They have the skills and knowledge they need for success in the competitive world of small business ownership.
